You may be required to get a UK Standard Visitor Visa if you plan to visit the UK for a short period (less than six months). Visitors are not permitted to work or study in the UK unless the permitted activities set out in these Visitor Rules allow so. Even if they are travelling as a family group, a tour group, or a school party, each visitor must meet the requirements of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules. All visitor visa applications are decided based on the applicant's information and any other relevant circumstances at the end of the assessment.
What can we do to help?
This visa has replaced a vast amount of other visas, and these are some of the few: Family Visitor visa; General Visitor visa and Child Visitor visa. To decide approval, Home Office may look at your past immigration history, how frequently you visit the UK, if you have a return trip booked, and how legitimate your reason for entering the UK is given your background. This is due to the fact that they primarily want confirmation that you will exit the UK at the end of your trip.
Not trying to stay in the country after your UK Standard Visitor Visa expires is one of the most significant elements UK Visas and Immigration will check for. It is to your benefit to use the broad and extensive expertise/skills that B&F has to offer, especially application wise, we are here to ensure that all necessary documentation is included and that the application is completed correctly.
