Indefinite Leave to Remain
Indefinite Leave to Remain is available for anyone who has held one of the following visa categories for five years and can showcase continuous residency for that term.
Additionally, there are other requirements to be met and few of which derive from the conditions of the visa scheme you are applying from.
A person granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK, also referred to as Settlement, can remain in the UK without any restrictions on their stay. ILR status has been granted for twelve months, a person is eligible to apply for citizenship in the UK, subject to meeting the citizenship necessities.
